Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TreeMargin, a service operated by Virtual Guruz LLC. By using TreeMargin, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.

Business accounts

You must be legally able to enter a contract and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that customer information you enter is collected and used lawfully.

Estimates and business decisions

TreeMargin is a calculation and workflow tool. Results depend on the rates, time, costs, scope, margin, and other inputs you provide. You are responsible for reviewing every quote and for your pricing, contracting, safety, insurance, licensing, and business decisions.

Taxes

Tax settings are user-configurable only. TreeMargin does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or compliance advice and does not determine, file, or remit taxes for you.

Proposals and electronic approval

TreeMargin can create versioned proposals and capture typed or drawn electronic approvals. You are responsible for ensuring that your proposal terms, disclosure, consent process, and use of electronic records comply with laws applicable to you and your customer. Retained timestamps, snapshots, and signatures support recordkeeping but do not guarantee enforceability.

Trials, subscriptions, and renewals

New companies receive a 14-day TreeMargin Pro trial without providing a card. Pro Monthly is $19.99 per month, Pro Annual is $199 per year, and eligible Founding Contractor subscriptions are $149 per year. Prices are in USD and applicable taxes may be added where required. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Annual subscriptions are billed annually. You authorize our billing provider to charge the payment method you provide at checkout.

Founding Contractor pricing

Founding pricing is limited to the first 100 successfully paid companies. The $149 annual rate remains available while that subscription stays continuously active. If canceled and later restarted, the founding rate is not guaranteed. Refunds, if any, are handled under applicable law and the checkout terms shown at purchase; cancellation stops future renewal but does not ordinarily create a prorated refund for the current paid period.

Cancellation and retained records

You may manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal. When a trial or paid entitlement ends, existing records remain readable, but new saved quotes, proposals, proposal versions, and actual-job finalizations are disabled. Historical financial snapshots, proposals, delivery records, and approvals are retained according to TreeMargin's retention policy and applicable obligations.

Customer payments

TreeMargin software subscription billing pays Virtual Guruz LLC for access to TreeMargin. Online payment collection between contractors and their customers is not currently included. Deposit terms shown on a proposal do not create or confirm an online payment.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, upload unlawful or harmful content, impersonate others, interfere with other users, or use TreeMargin to violate law or third-party rights.

Your content and our software

You retain ownership of business and customer content you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and display it to provide TreeMargin. Virtual Guruz LLC retains all rights in the TreeMargin software, brand, and service.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to provide a reliable service, but TreeMargin is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, contractor work, customer disputes, or third-party services.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Virtual Guruz LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for TreeMargin during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes, suspension, and contact

We may update the service or these terms, suspend misuse, and communicate material changes when required. Questions may be sent to support@treemargin.com.
