Privacy Policy

TreeMargin is operated by Virtual Guruz LLC. This policy explains how we handle information when contractors use TreeMargin to estimate and manage tree-service work.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address; company settings; labor, equipment, and overhead rates; customer contact and service-address details you enter; job estimates, proposals, signatures, and completed-job actuals; subscription, trial, checkout, customer-portal, and billing-webhook records; provider customer and subscription identifiers; and basic security and usage records such as timestamps, IP-derived security hashes, and browser information. TreeMargin does not store full payment-card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, support, and improve TreeMargin; authenticate users; calculate and retain financial snapshots; generate and deliver proposals; document customer approvals; prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations.

Service providers

We use vetted providers to operate the service, including Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email, and Stripe for software-subscription checkout, payment processing, invoices, and the customer billing portal. Those providers process information for us under their own contractual and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Account and draft data is kept while needed to provide the service. Issued proposals, approvals, delivery records, finalized financial snapshots, and necessary billing and webhook audit records may be retained longer for business, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal purposes. We use archival and versioning controls to avoid accidental deletion. The applicable retention period may vary by record type and legal obligation.

Security

We use access controls, row-level tenant isolation, encrypted transport, least-privilege credentials, and retained audit records. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible information by emailing support@treemargin.com. Some records may need to be retained where law, contracts, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution require it.

Children and changes

TreeMargin is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the revised date here. Material changes will be communicated when required.
